Come in and look around

All Saints Church is at the heart of the beautiful and ancient City of York. When in the city, please come and visit, either for a service or just to look around!
The church is usually open seven days a week and provides a quiet, restful sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of City life. It is in regular use, not only by the congregation but also by the many Guilds, Regiments and other Service Organisations connected with it.
The building contains many items of interest for the those interested in architecture, local history, glass painting, the history of York etc., including 14th century glass paintings, a 16th century roof, a 17th century pulpit, lists of Lord Mayors of the City (the church is also the Civic Church). Don't just take our word for it. Come and see for yourself! Find the Green Man, the carved mice, peacock wings and much more. How many guild and Regimental shields and crests are there. How many Lord Mayors of the City are commemorated here?
Look around and enjoy the building, but please respect it, this is a living, working place of faith and there may be people praying.
